Brow Lamination in Geneva

Imagine waking up to full, brushed-up, perfectly groomed eyebrows without reaching for a single pencil or gel. Brow lamination has quickly become one of the most requested treatments at our Geneva brow studio, and for good reason. In a single session, your natural hairs are realigned upward, smoothed and set into a fuller, sculpted shape that lasts for weeks. The effect is an open, lifted gaze and a soft, feathery brow that still looks entirely like you.
Our studio is dedicated exclusively to the eyebrow, and every day we welcome clients across Geneva who want to save time in the morning and finally tame unruly or sparse brows. Here is everything you need to know before booking.

What is brow lamination?

Brow lamination is a semi-permanent shaping treatment, often described as a brow "lift" or a gentle "perm" for your eyebrows. Using a sequence of cosmetic solutions, we soften the hair structure, reposition each hair in a new direction, then re-set it so it holds that shape. Brows that are flat, stubborn or that grow downward are lifted, brushed up and out, and stabilised in place.
Crucially, brow lamination does not change the colour or the actual number of your hairs. It works purely on their direction and behaviour. By standing each hair up and fanning it out, we visually fill small gaps, create the impression of extra volume and deliver that fluffy, brushed-up texture that defines modern brows.
It is a non-permanent treatment with no pigment, which sets it clearly apart from microblading (more on that below).

How the treatment works, step by step

Every appointment starts with a short consultation to understand your routine, your natural brow shape and the look you are after. Then we move through the following stages:
  1. Assessment and cleanse. We remove makeup and gently degrease the area so the solutions can act evenly.
  2. Mapping the shape. We study the natural line, the hair growth and the symmetry to plan the ideal grooming direction.
  3. First solution (softening). A cream is applied and the hairs are brushed into position. This makes the hair pliable and easy to reshape.
  4. Realignment. Each hair is combed and lifted upward and outward, across the full length of the brow.
  5. Second solution (setting). A second cream locks in the new position so the shape holds over time.
  6. Nourishing care. A conditioning balm is applied to hydrate and soothe the hair.
  7. Optional add-ons. Depending on your chosen formula, we continue with tinting, waxing or a lash lift.
A standalone lamination usually takes between 40 and 60 minutes. It is a comfortable, relaxing treatment carried out with your eyes closed.

The benefits of brow lamination

  • Instant volume. Lifted hairs cover more of the brow area, so your brows look fuller and broader.
  • A groomed shape on waking. No more daily brow gel: the shape is already brushed and set.
  • A lifted, open gaze. Combing the hairs upward visually opens the eye.
  • A natural finish. Unlike makeup, there is no drawn-on line. It is your own hair, simply better directed.
  • Time saved. Perfect for busy schedules and rushed mornings.
  • Great versatility. It suits fine brows and thick, bushy brows alike.

Who is it for?

Brow lamination is especially well suited to:
  • unruly or bushy brows that are hard to keep in place;
  • sparse brows or brows with gaps you want to visually fill;
  • downward-growing hairs that hide the eyes;
  • anyone who wants a full, fluffy look without wearing makeup;
  • clients who want to try a fuller shape before considering other options.
A prior consultation always confirms that the treatment is a good fit for your hair type and skin.

Brow lamination vs microblading: the key difference

We are asked this constantly. Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup technique that deposits pigment beneath the skin to draw individual hair strokes. It adds colour and lasts many months. Brow lamination deposits no pigment and does not break the skin. It works only with your existing hair, lifting and setting it. It is non-permanent, fades gradually and then lets the brow return to its natural state. In short, it is a softer, reversible, commitment-free approach.
Lamination pairs beautifully with other eye treatments. Our most requested formulas include:
  • Lamination + Lash Lift: the signature duo for a completely refreshed gaze, curled lashes and groomed brows.
  • Lamination + Hybrid Brow Tint: the hybrid tint deepens colour and defines the outline even further for a denser look.
  • Lamination + Lash Lift + Hybrid Tint: the full package, a top-to-bottom eye enhancement.
  • Lamination + Lash Tint: to darken the lashes and frame the eyes without mascara.
  • Lamination + Waxing: to clean the line and refine the contour after shaping.
  • Lamination + Waxing + Hybrid Tint: the perfect trio of shape, colour and crisp contour.
You will find the price of each combination in the table below.

Longevity and aftercare

The result of a brow lamination lasts on average 4 to 6 weeks, as your natural growth cycle gradually replaces the treated hairs. Longevity varies with your hair type and daily routine.
To keep the result looking its best:
  • For the first 24 hours, keep your brows completely dry: no water, steam, sauna, hammam or heavy sweating.
  • Avoid rubbing, touching or brushing the brows during that first day.
  • Do not apply makeup or rich creams to the area for the first 24 hours.
  • After that, brush your brows upward every morning with a small spoolie.
  • Apply a nourishing balm or light oil regularly to keep the hair supple.
  • Space out new sessions by at least a few weeks to protect the hair.

Frequently asked questions

Does brow lamination hurt? No. The treatment is painless and carried out with your eyes closed. You simply feel the coolness of the products and the touch of the brush.
How long does the result last? On average 4 to 6 weeks, depending on your growth cycle and daily care.
Will it damage my brows? Performed correctly, with a prior assessment and a nourishing balm, the treatment respects the hair. Daily brushing and a little oil help keep it supple.
Can I wear makeup afterwards? Yes, but only after the first 24 hours. During that window, keep the area dry and product-free.
What is the difference with microblading? Microblading places pigment under the skin and lasts months; lamination uses no pigment, only lifts the hair and is not permanent.
Can I add a tint on the same day? Yes, it is one of our most popular combos: the hybrid tint deepens the colour right after shaping.
How often should I repeat the session? Whenever the shape fades, typically every 4 to 6 weeks, letting the hair breathe between appointments.
Is it suitable for very fine brows? Yes. By lifting the hairs, we create an impression of density and volume, which is exactly what sparse brows benefit from.
